28-5-2024:According to the observations at (06:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression has crossed to the Northwest of Dhaka(Bangladesh) and moved North-Northeastwards and weaken into a Land Depression. It is forecast to move East-Northeastwards and weaken into a Low Pressure Area during next (6)hrs. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and strong to vigorous over the Eastcentral and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (15:30) hrs MST today, due to the clouds moving from the East, development of convective clouds and westerly disturbances, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayah States from 10-4-2024 to 12-4-2024.

People should be awared untimely rainfall accompanied with thunder, lightning, hails and strong wind in the areas with development of convective clouds.
