SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 2°C above March average temperatures in Chin, Rakhine States and 2°C below March average temperature in Kachin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 39.1°C in Kawkareik, 39.0°C in Nyaunglaybin, 38.6°C each in Chauk and Myawaddy, 38.0°C in Shwebo, 37.8°C in Hpa-an, 37.6°C each in Aunglan and Hpa-an(Agro-Met) and 37.5°C each in Yamethin, Thazi(Hlaingtat), Taunggu, Shwekyin, Pyay, Gyobingauk, Magway and Sinbyugyun. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.04 inch in Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th March 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 60%.
