BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 25th February 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Yangon,Kayin, Mon, Southern Shan States, scattered in Ayeyarwady Region and Kachin, Kayah States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions and Rakhine, Northern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35-40 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Shan States.
