SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been scattered in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Eastern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region and 2°C above February average temperature in Lower Sagaing Region, 3°C above February average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway Regions and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 3.8°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 4.0°C in Hakha, 5.0°C in Mongyang, 6.0°C in Tiddim, 7.0°C in Heho, 7.7°C in Loilin, 8.7°C in Pinlaung, 9.0°C in Myitkyina, 9.8°C each in Pyinoolwin and Mingin and 10.0°C in Minesat. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.12 inch each in Putao and Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay and generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th February 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Northern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
