SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Mandalay, Bago, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below February average temperature in Rakhine State, 2°C above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Southern Shan States and 3°C to 4°C above February average temperatures in Mon, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 3.0°C in Hakha, 3.6°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 5.0°C in Tiddim, 5.1°C in Loilin, 6.0°C each in Pyinoolwin and Mongyang, 7.0°C each in Myitkyina and Heho, 7.7°C in Putao, 9.5°C in Pinlaung, 10.0°C in Mingin and 10.3°C in Machanbaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.04 inch in Myeik.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay, a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th February 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
